Windows Media Player keeps defaulting to "Prefer AC3Filter" after...a while?
I'm using the nvDVD decoders in SageTV, and every time I reboot, without fail, I lose AC3 support in Sage, because this setting under the DVD tab in WMP keeps getting set to "Prefer AC3Filter" instead of "Prefer Other Decoder."
Is there a away to keep this from happening? Would I need to uninstall the AC3Filter somehow? Thanks.

Make that setting in Windows Media Player. That should keep the setting in Winamp.

It's very annoying to find you have no sound, after recording from the fusion card, to have to go change this setting *again*.

If your not running AC3 Filter at all, you can unregister it with Radlight Filter Manager. Just remember that with every Sage upgrade, it re-installs and sets AC3 Filter to preferred (Why? There should be an option in the installer to choose AC3 Filter installation, or not).
