How do I eject a DVD?
Ok, so I've linked an IR remote button (via USB-UIRT) to the eject command, and I've tried linking to stop/eject. Neither button does anything at all. Given that one of my client cases has no accessible eject button, I really need to be able to do it from *somewhere* in Sage, preferably with just a remote button.

As far as I know, those commands are not yet used by SageTV in Windows.
Perhaps look into using an eject command/program via nielm's dyanmic custom menus import. - Andy

Cord,
Andy hit it the nail on the on the head. Install neilm's Dynamic Menu, and get that working. Then download "Wizmo" from GRC.com. Place wizmo.exe in your program files directory, in its own folder. Make 2 shortcuts in that folder called "Wizmo Open" and "Wizmo Close" (or whatever). Open each shortcut's properties and add "wizmo open wizmo quiet" (no quotes) after "?:\Program Files\wizmo.exe", for the "Open" shortcut...and "wizmo close wizmo quiet" for the "Close" shorcut. Now in Sage, use neilm's menu to add a link to an external program and choose "wizmo open.lnk"...rename it to "Open DVD Tray" (or whatever)...do the same for the "wizmo close.lnk". Don't sleep Sage when they are executed, and save the definition file when you're all done. I put these right below the "Play DVD" menu item. To keep the text on that screen large, I added music, photo's and video's to a sub menu I named "Digital Media" It took me about 5 minutes from wizmo download to saving the definition file...piece 'o' cake P |

So the next question would be, how do I keep the cool new clean menus (without all the lines) while using the customizable menus?
Thanks for the info, though. I was suspecting that was the answer, but was hoping otherwise. |
