I have the same issue, mainly watching hockey, and it is driving me crazy. i would have crazy ff/RW results, and worse, if i hit stop at 10 mins of 1st period, when i go back and watch again, i am at 3rd period w/ 2 mins left. Boom-i know the score whats the point of watching the rest of the game. Did not do this w/ 2.2.8 but started at 4.1.6 and 4.1.10.
I believe it will only happen if i am time shifting a show, or start to watch a show while it is still recording. This needs to be fixed. Sage response to me on the issue was very poor. Hopefully they look at this more closely. |

Well... it's beta, don't forget that. There may be errors. If you don't want them, stick with a stable release.
That said... I have the stable 4.1.3 and think that I encountered that problem... but I maybe wrong because it never reoccured.

One full Rangers/Bruins hockey game has been uploaded to the Sage FTP. DVD Standard Play. Guide time + 15 min padding.
This may be an interaction with the padding feature. I disabled padding and recorded another game...it played perfectly. The timeline moved in 1 second intervals, and FF/RW moved the appropriate ammount throughout the file. P |
