Tv out, No Sound, & DVD playback

Hi All

I have managed to install my sagetv linux dist but have a problem with the audio and TVout. When the computer boots in Linux. I get TVout from the Nvidia FX5500 no problem, As Soon as the Nvidia Driver loads and the Splash screen occurs, The Tv out - ceases to function and all i get is a Blank screen. The VGA out put works but Tv Out is dead.
What do I need to do to get the TV out to work ?

The second thing is that there is no Audio whats so ever, dead, I am thinking that maybe no sound driver installed or incorrectly configured?

Last but not least, THe DVD doesnt play any disc under Sagetv....I have read other post and it looks like this is a general problem?

Appologies for all the questions, I am a newbie at both linux and Sage, I like the speed and dedicated linux install as apposed to Windows and all their "chunkey" programming.

Sorry all.....

I have been at it the whole day.... Got Audio to work, Problem was with Sound level and Audio mute. thank goodness for the following link!!

Now all i got to get working is the DVD.

Does anyone know if you can burn the video files from your harddrive to a DVD ROM within Sage tv. THIS would be a great feature to add as well as playback !!!

DVD playback is not supported in the current version of SageTV for linux...
