Delete a channel

Is there a way to delete a channel from the lineup?

I have a problem where I used to work with an xmltv epg by one guy(actually I wrote the getter ), and now I want to move to a different source.

The channel names are not 100% the same and so I want to remove some channels from the list, and then use the other epg data to add the channels from the other source.

Can this be done? Is there a way that does not require me to do it by deleting caputre sources and reneabling them?

Could this be done with studio (general tips would help)?
I am asking about Studio since the guy (oren) is also creating an STV and maybe he can code this there with some pointers from the fourm members.

If you go thru Source Setup you can enable or disable any channel in your lineup. You don't have to delete the source, just change the channel lineup.

I know that, but I specifficly asked about deleting, because what happens if I have ata in both channels which are the same (2 days remaining on one, and 7 on the newer)??

No you cannot delete a channel from a lineup -- it's there forever,
The only workaround is to change the XMLTV importer to use a different lineup ID.

More info in this thread:

If the channels are showing up as separate channels in source setup, then sage will treat them as separate channels -- disable the one with 2 day's data...
