kernel config used for OEM edition
Would it be possible to get the .config used to generate the kernel for the OEM edition of Sage for Linux?
I want to compile in different (ethernet, 3ware) drivers, and would like to be able to use the same kernel configuration as the OEM build. |

I will post dmesg when I get home tonight. The motherboard is a Dell propriotary board, used in the PowerEdge 400SC. Its made by Intel, and has Intel 875P northbridge chipset, and onboard Intel E1000 ethernet. I've installed other linux flavors on it, and by default they all worked when the driver was built in (as in this case) or as module (believe once I had to enable it in the proper /etc file). Guess I will have to do some more digging...

Well for whatever reason, its working now for my E1000. I moved the server to another location, and restarted it, and this time, the init scripts went through and it finally detected the E1000. Appears that it tried to load the e1000 module (even though I cant find one on the system) before the ICH5 is initiated, fails, then after all the other devices are initialed, the system senses the E1000 and probes its settings, and it acquires an IP.
