mvp settings

Hi, does each MVP maintain its own settings for sage or when you change to say "vmr9" on one does it affect them all and even the server head?

I would like the server head to use vmr9 and transparency, but I would like the MVPs to not use transparency if this is possible.

The "Clients" directory maintains a separate file of properties for each MVP. The name of the property file is the MAC address of the MVP. I have 2 MVP's each with a customized menu thanks to NIELM!

The MVPs don't support VMR9 or even Overlay. They have their own MPEG decode hardware with its own capabilities. The hardware does support transparency.

This is like asking if your Sony DVD player supports VMR9 or overlay.

Yes it has a forum of Overlay just different type then a PC has so better put it backward renderer of a PC Overlay.

TV do it this way Video Renderer and Overlay Mixing
where
PC do it this way Overlay Mixing and Video Renderer.

VMR replaces the Overlay Mixer and Video Renderer in one package with a few samll dif uses the 3D graphics hardware to render the video
