Smooth FF/RW
Hello,
Ok, I have searched but I cannot seem to find any info on the "smooth FF/RW" feature. Somebody please give me a link or something. Thanks and Happy Holidays, Jesse |

Smooth FF/REW is only available when using an MVP as a SageTV Media Extender, or with DVD playback for some DVD decoders.

Still curious as to why this is a problem getting it to work on the primary machine... Nielm's plugin worked great and almost as good as a "smooth" ff/rw until I switched to the purevideo codec. After that it doesn't work. So I'm stuck with a 10 second and 1 minute skip. Hardly the ideal solution.

Smooth FF/RW on the MVP is awesome! It works very well. Any idea if this functionality will be implemented in the core server on the PC? The MVP is nice but it would be great to have a consistent interface for the WAF on the main box in the LR and the MVP in the BR. Since FF/RW is something that is done quite frequently the wife noticed it immediately and spoke strange words at me under her breath as she poked pins in a little doll
Is it some technical difference in using a video codec and the hardware decoding in the MVP that makes this un-doable? |
