imported videos folder

I've noticed a few oddities in the imported videos functionality
My media locations
c:\videos
d:\_tv
d:\_movies

I set c:\videos and d: as import folders for video.

It almost worked as expected.
I have noticed that all wmv and asf files do not get shown in their folder rather just on the opening list. All avi's are shown in the proper folder.

I have one folder with one avi in it. Selecting that folder autoselects that AVI(ie the watch/delete/info menu opens), is that intentional?

In c:\videos their are 3 folders all with AVI's, none of them are shown. None of them have weird characterts in their names, all have multiple avi's in them.

Running 4.1.3? There was a bug regardind .wmv and .wma imports. Had the same main folder issue along with .wmv's with no internal title being named like ~1, ~2, etc.

Anyways, Sage gave me a workaround to fix it in 4.1.3 and it looks like they fixed the bug in the new 4.1.4 beta.

Doesn't appear fixed on 4.1.4 here. What was the work around?

That's a bug and it will be fixed for the next release. As a workaround, you can open the Sage.jar file with WinZip and remove the file sage/WMATagParser.class from it. Then if you do the import again it'll work correctly (but it won't import any metadata from WMA files either).

Pick your poison: Usorted .wmv with stock .jar, or unsorted .wma with removed .class file.
