Back in 4.1.3 I reported this bug and Sage hooked me up with a workaround..

That's a bug and it will be fixed for the next release. As a workaround, you can open the Sage.jar file with WinZip and remove the file sage/WMATagParser.class from it. Then if you do the import again it'll work correctly (but it won't import any metadata from WMA files either).
I tested 4.1.4 on some imports when it was released and it seemed to be ok. But later, after I imported everything, some (less than 4.1.3) files are listed badly.

I went ahead and redid the workaround and re-imported the files and it is the way I like it.

Just upgraded from 4.0 to the beta. I did the work around and it did fix the videos...and did mess up the music Can the WMAtagparser.class from the original 4.0 be put in to the 4.1.4 .jar?

For example selecting a folder sometimes opens that folder and then the next folder level as well. Or pressing imported video sometimes navigates straight back to the media library menu because the cursor is on Back by default.

Other menus function as expected and using the mouse works fine.

I am using the Hauppauge 45 button remote with a USB-UIRT. Anybody else seen this behaviour?

thanks
Try these settings in sageclient.properties:

infrared_receive_repeat_delay=1000
infrared_receive_repeat_period=200

sage.properties if using standard SageTV rather than Client, I guess!

I'll have to try that too, I occasionally get a double-tap by accident...thanks.

Unless you have the service enabled.

So if you have the service enabled but are using the standard SageTV program, the standard Sage looks at sageclient.properties?

Correct. When you have the Service running and you execute the Sagetv.exe it comes up as a client. (Connects to the service) So it would use the Sageclient.properties.

Right, thanks. Andy must be asleep, I'd expect to see the page number from the manual by now...

Thanks that seems to have made all the difference. Wonder why it was only causing a problem in the imported videos menus tho

Pictures is where I had the problem, so who knows. I've since dialed it down to 650ms, but play with it and see what works best. I run the service, so sageclient.properties is what I edit. If both properties files have the same entry, I'll add it to both, just in case
