Static IP support in MediaMVP client

Does anyone know when/if the MediaMVP client will support static IP? My home network uses static IPs and I'm not going to change a working setup. Thanks.

Set up your DHCP server to assign specific (static) IPs to specific MAC addresses.
Most home routers can do this.
And there is nothing wrong with using both static and DHCP-assigned IP addresses on the same subnet -- provided the DHCP pool does not overlap the static address pool.
