Any way to make this go away?

Whenever I delete/close a sage recording, the screen flickers alot as the file is closed and the live tv is reopened.

Is there a way to get rid of this annoying feature?
Something like, livetv opens up before the file is deleted so it seems like a seamless transistion?

Running 4.0

Are you using the standard STV or a modified one?

RE: Any way to make this go away?

I have this problem from time to time with my nVidia card. I have found that it is due to the video card doing "something", I am not a programmer, so I do have details as to what it is doing, but I would suggest playing with your resolution that is being sent to your TV, and see if that will make it less noticable.

Enable debug logging and then send the log to support so we can look at it. You can enable logging by setting the property debug_logging=TRUE in your Sage.properties file. It'll then produce a sagetv_0.txt file in the SageTV folder.

I don't think it's an error with sage.
I was messing around with my video card settings (nvidia 4800) and I found that if I set it to only one display (the TV) it works just like it does on my monitor (in clone mode).
The only problem is that I can't get the overscan to work properly unless I'm in clone mode.
I tried dual view but got the same effect.

Drivers are all current too.
