Sage 4.0 mp3 playback Stutter
Hi All,
I have just upgraded my Sage 2.2.8 box to 4.0 and have noticed an issue with mp3 playback. Under Sage 2.2.8 all my mp3 files played fine, but under 4.0 they now stutter. If I play the mp3s in Winamp, they stilll play fine, but Sage playback of the same files stutters. Since I use this feature of Sage a lot, I simply can’t stay at 4.0 with the stuttering problem, and will have to revert to the 2.2.8 version. Can anyone suggest anything I should try, before I spend the time going back to my old setup Thanks V.

I had a similar problem. When I would start to play a file the spinning Sage icon would spin from 30 60 seconds then it would play. Mine were mP3pro files. I sent one to tech support to see if they can troubleshoot. Don't know if that is the same issue you are having but that is mine. Once it finally loaded most of the time it played fine. I have converted some to standard constant bitrate mp3's and they work fine. What was funny was the mp3pro files played fine on the MVP client.
