Pointer visible during show playback
Anyone else have troubles with the mouse pointer staying visible during playback. I usually just move it to the corner so it's offscreen., but I was wondering if this is a common problem or not.

Thanks, I'll try that. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
My thought was that SageTV could just automatically move the pointer to the bottom right hand corner when the pointer should be invisible. |

My cursor stays on the screen even during the Sage screen saver. I have to put it into the lower corners to hide it.

This situation appears to happen when something else steals focus. I just click in the middle of the SageTV screen (when it's running full screen) so SageTV is back in focus and then the mouse pointer goes away after a few seconds (as it should be doing always otherwise).

I've had this problem show itself once in the past week or so... I had never seen it before. I'm not sure what caused it and I didn't try and of the aforementioned solutions.

Yup, happens to me all the time lately.
I move it off the screen, too. SOMETIMES clicking on the Sage window will make it go away, sometimes it doesn't though. Jason |

I have an app called movemouse.exe that puts the mouse in the bottom right hand corner.
This can be set to run on startup. I'm not sure how I can put the app on the forum. I think (can't quite remember) I got it from HTPC news. |

This always happens to me. I have to move the mouse to the bottom of the screen. It's a bug in SageTV, IMHO. They should make it like TheaterTek, where the mouse disappears after a few seconds timeout.

On my system, when the cursor is still on when viewing a recording, I usually press the Information button. When the display automatically times out, the cursor gets hidden as well.
