Sage TV 2.0 compatable cards
Is the ATI 550pro tv tuner card supported in Sage TV 2.0?
Also, is the hauppauge PVR-500MCE supported in Sage TV 2.0? Thank you. |

I don't think the 550 Pro is compatible with 2.0.xx, and I'm pretty sure that you need 2.2.x or better to get 500 working. Why not just upgrade from 2.0.x to a later version, 4.0 seems to be fairly stable for most people, and has a bunch of new features .

oh wow, that's great haha, thanks for telling me.
While I'm here, I figure I'll also ask, when I install the 500MCE, SageTV will pick it up as two different tuners and I configure them individually just as I would with two seperate tuners correct? Also, this shouldn't pose a problem with an old 1.2ghz celeron based compaq with 512mb of SD-ram right? I will basically be using it as a server and use the sage tv client for me and my friend from across the house. |
