Fusion Gold's

Well I would list it as a work in progress, I have my old HTPC still running (WAF) while I build the new one. It has a Fusion 5 Gold+ and 2 Fusion 5 Lites in it. If I try to use them for SD OTA I get a conflict msg. So far I have had it record 3 HD streams at once with no problems but I would not list it as overly stable. I have Fusion 314 drivers on it. One card alone works well. Processor load with 3 channels of HD recording is under 20%. Playback is the bitch at about 50% load. Pentium 4 3.0E 2gig ram, 1.2Tb on two Sata Raid0 drives (320gig x2 x2) 100gig PATA for system. I'm trying to fix the conflicts and I'll post the results.

Had no problems with one Fusion 5 Lite. With two Fusion 5 Lites, I often have total system crashes when recording on one and switching channels. Don't know if this is a Fusion driver issue (ver 3.11) or a SageTV 4.0 problem.

Have spent a lot of time and money for three PC's and a bunch of cards on assumption that two cards in a PC will work fine. BSOD's will kill the WAF.

3.14? Are they on the FTP only? Site shows only 3.11

Fusion 5 xxx

I think I am up to 3.19.xx and it gets updated daily, Yes it is only on the FTP site. Many of the changes are for the QAM,cable guys, I only have OTA to look at. I have no problem recorded multiple channels, ITS PLAYBACK that almost always locks up in SAGE 4.0. You have to do a hard reset. I still have a HTPC running v3. with 4 PVR250 cards and it has worked flawless for 2 years with just the upgrades. I wish I could say the same for my new one.
I have tried Fusion5 Gold, fusion5 Lite and Fusion 5 USB, None have played back well in SAGE.
