Problem with Stop Time Offset

I record a show that always gets over five minutes early. I decided to set the end time to be -5 minutes to see what RC1 would do and I got a strange result. First, both the start and end times were offset by five minutes so that the show started five minutes late and ended five minutes early. This is what the visual in the Guide showed.

When I went in to try to fix the problem, the favorites manager said that I had a custom offset of "0 seconds." After I set both the start and end offset to None, I am unable to provide any offset (either positive or negative, custom or predefined) to the end time. Again, this is what the visual in the guide shows (the favorites manager does show positive offsets). The shows that I have not applied a negative end offset display correctly in the Guide.

I have not tried a negative start offset, but I have a feeling that there would be a problem there as well. Quitting and restarting SageTV does not fix the problem.

Any thoughts?
