Record Now - Recording Quality

Is there anyway to view the program guide and record a program that is currently playing with a different quality than the default? I know how to do it for a future recordin

The way it seems to work now is I select the program, select record options, and the only options on the popup window are "record this show" and "add this show as a favorite". If I select record this show it starts recording and I cant change the quality.. I understand not being able to change the quality once the recording starts, but its seems like if I hit record I should be able to tell it a different quality.

I don't think you can do this with the default STV.
