update of EPG data
Hi,
I managed to get SageTV to configure the lineup and load XMLTV EPG data once. Now I set up a rutine that once a day will generate updated data and place the file epgdata.xml in the SageTV main directory. For some reason SageTV does not read this data, despite for the file being there, but remembers the data in the initial trial dataload. What am I doing wrong? Regards Stephen

Most likely there is a bug in the XML data -- use the plugintester to check it (see XMLTV page in the wiki in my signature)

Progress
Not sure what has been wrong, but now the program seems to update ok.
I understand from the manual that SageTV updates once every 24 hrs, and if a channel is toggled in the channel setup. The 24 hrs, is that at startup of the program, and then subsequently every 24 hrs after this? Is there any way to make this update happen at a specific time of day? Cheers Stephen
