STV Import: Imdb Search Interface (7 Jul 2008 v6.10)

The latest version works fine for recorded episodes of a series, but if I try to search for a show in the guide, upcoming recordings, or intelligent suggestions it only takes the show title into account and ignores the name of the series.

Edit: I'm pretty sure I'm using the latest version, but I'll check to be sure.

Well - I'm pretty sure I just did the Import and now I'm getting the IMDB selection TWICE on the menu. I'm not sure what is wrong and I'm not sure about the scroll bars. Here's a screen shot to show you what I mean by it showing up twice.

Damn, The fix for imported vids broke the search for TV Airings... 6.4 comming soon.

Mike You cannot import anyt of my STVI's into an STV that they have already been imported into. You have to start with the default STV and import everying from scratch.

Thanks for this STV it works quite nice. Just one thing as I have the German version it says "Allgemein" instead of General. While the folders cast, backstage, location... work the first "General" folder remains empty.
I do not understand why it displays something in German at all.

I was just wondering if IMDB.com had changed their format or if something else is wrong but when I search I get no Sumarry, Cast and Backstage.
The Quotes and Trivia still show up though.
Any ideas as to why?

I am using IMDB search V6.4 on a fresh install of 6.1.3 and it worked fine until yesterday.

Have you installed anything else (eg sageMC) that overwrites the JAR files with older versions?

Yes, I did install SageMC. That was it...I unzipped the import again and all was good.

I updated my Java to 1.5.10 to fix the stupid DST change. That appeared to break the IMDB parsing since I no longer saw anything for Cast or Crew. Reverting my JRE to 1.5.5 fixed it.

Using the lasted SageMC and latest IMDB Search I am getting an http 400 error...
IMDB read failed:
net.sf.safeplugins.sageimdb.DbFfailureException:
java.io.IOException:

Server returned HTTP response code: 400 for URL:
http://former.imdb.comcom/title/tt0411061/combided

The issue appears to be the .comcom the question is, is this an IMDB web services issue, or the plug in.

Any input?

lampcov: sagemc appears to include an older version of the imdb search JAR. download and unpack the latest version (it was fixed in v4.5 for Sage 5.0/v6.2 for sage 6.0+ -- see post 149)

Will this work with v5.04? I've hesitated to update to 6.x.....

No (thats why it mentions SageTV6.1/6.0 in the release!) The latest version for SageTV5 is v4.6

This is a great plugin that I have enjoyed for quite a while now. One thing I don't understand is why the Sage View Program Information shows the movie's rating but I cannot find it anywhere at the IMDB site or in the plugin.

Any thoughts on this?
