Extending Recording Times
I was playing with changing the start and stop times for a recording and think I found a bug. I am running two tuner cards and was recording two shows that were being played back-to-back on the same channel. Having never played with this new feature, I extended the first program to end five minutes late. I then adjusted the second program to start five mintues early.
Rather than move one of the programs to the other tuner card, it decided to not record the first show. When I eliminated the overlap, the first show showed back up as being schedules for recording. I know that what I did was rather strange, and I did it just to see what SageTV would do. While I am on the subject of scheduling programs with multiple cards, is it possible to adjust the tuner that will be used to record a program? If I am watching live TV and a scheduled recording is about to happen, SageTV will interrupt what I am watching rather than use one of the other, unused, tuners. Could SageTV automatically move the scheduled recording to another card? Thanks, - Jonathan |

That's not strange at all. One of the reasons I purchased a second turner was to be able to pad the start and end time of shows without creating a lot of conflicts. Thrusday's on NBC is a good example of programming that overlaps, it would be nice to not have to jump to the end of a show to see the beginning a another.

These bugs are fixed in 1.4.8.
