Encoder merit gui
Are the any STV's out there or plugins that will allow you to set the encoder merit on multiple tuner systems without editing the sage.properties file? It would be cool if it was just built into the default STV where you configure the tuner in the source setup gui. This could also be included on the screen everyone wants that allows you to rename each of your encoders to something that makes sense to you rather than the default name "Hauppauge WinTVPVR..." that is so descriptive
I know this can be done with the properties file but it would be very convenient to add what is probably fairly simple functionality to the Sage gui. An import to the default STV for something like that would rock! I know which one I want to change from within Sage but it is difficult to figure out which of the 5 tuners I have correspond to the Sage device. Does Cayers on one of the others allow this? May not be high on many priority lists but just wanted to check if something was already out there that I am missing. Sage.....feature request..... |

It isn't worth the time for anyone to develop such a system of setting the encoder merit inside the UI, because those values are currently only checked at startup time. Been there, done that.
