Nielm's Multi-speed FF/RW
Previously this was working great for me, but as of recently I am getting very few/inconsistant video updates. Whenever I ff or rw I have to pretty much guess at where to stop now.
I am using the Nvidia purevideo decoder. Is there anything I can do to improve the performance of this plugin?

Are you using v3 beta? If so I had the same issue exactly. BUT... only when using the nvidia decoder. Mostly. I still see it occasionally but it's rare and never last more than a second or two. I couldn't use the cyberlink decoder or another one I had installed. The only one that worked was the default sage decoder. Try using that and see what happens.

I don't use the multi-speed FF plugin but did notice a similar issue with just using the default FF/REW with V3 along with nvidia decoder. Previiously with the Sage decoder, I could hold down the FF key and it would skip forward in 10 sec. "freeze frames" where I could keep an eye on where I was at. Now with the nvidia decoder, the picture will freeze at the intitial frame and just the sound skips forward.

As mentioned in the docs, this import is very decoder-dependant... But if normal repeated skipping also does not work, it might be considered as a core bug if you report it.

I just tried Cyberlink powere DVD 6 decoder, and the FF/RW updates are not as good as the Sage decoder but much better than the Nvidia. And the picture quality is only slightly lower than Nvidia, so I'm gonna stick with it for now.

Multi-Speed FF Not working with Malore's Extras
I am using 3.07 and recently enabled the Unofficial Extras and Malore's custom menus and Nielm's multi-sp FF no longer works. It just pauses now as if I hit the "pause" button. Any ideas?

multi-speed ff and Media mvp?
Thanks for the response Kanati--I think now that the "extras" are not the problem. I also switched to media mvp at the same time and maybe that is why multi-speed ff doesn't work(?). Does anyone know of anything I have to setup to allow m/s ff to work with media mvp? Thanks, Randy
