EPG not updating properly

Well, i got home from a trip and noticed that my EPG has not updated correctly. It HAS updated for about 60% of my shows but won't update the rest. The really weird part is it usually will just show 'no data' but for some reason all the shows are being called 'dulce libra' or something like that. The show information shows up as being sports/wrestling. This comes up on all the channels that haven't updated. I checked with zap2it and their programming is right. I have tried to force an update by disablein/enabling a channel but that doesn't seem to work either. Is there anyway i can clear out the whole guide and start updating from the beginning without having to manually enable all the channels i want by going through source setup again? I guess I could always remove my source then start from scratch but i am trying to prevent that. BTW---it would be nice to have a button that 'updates epg' whenever you select it.
Thanks
JUC

edit: mods--feel free to move this to the EPG thread--i thought that was only for the xmltv stuff but...

Actually, the part about showing something other than "No Data" shows it is most likely a v3 beta issue, since I remember that occuring in the beta before.

Regarding some channels not updating... are you using more than 1 lineup? If so, double check that one of your lineups isn't obsolete - others have mentioned that happening. If it is, you'll have to reconfigure that source for a new lineup.

only one linup...so this is most likely a v3 beta issue then? I am using the current beta. I believe the linup has updated correctly since i installed v3 so not really sure why this happened now. Anyway to get it to repopulate the whole guide?
Thanks

Showing the wrong show instead of "No Data" is a known beta issue; I don't know about the part where some of your channels aren't getting updated in the first place - I don't remember hearing about some channels getting updated while others are not. You said you've already tried what I would suggest: toggling a channel in Channel Setup.

If your provider didn't change a bunch of channels, then you might want to contact SageTV to see if they know of something that might have happened.

I did a clean install of 3.0.7 and saw the same thing. The system that is running 3.0.5 does not have this problem.

damn...well, i might try reverting back. I think i will try to delete my source and readd it first and see if that helps. Hopefully this will get taken care of though as its pretty much useless without a working EPG

Same thing

I had the same problem with a fresh install of 3.0.7, i got about 35 favorites and they are all heating up now with the season starting. I noticed some (seemed to be further out) were not showing up on the upcoming recordings. When I looked at the guide I say the time slot indicating "No Data".

I removed the sources on my 3 tuners and re-added them and that seemed to fill in all of the data now.

Yea, 'no data' coming up isn't a bug--just a sign that the EPG didn't update properly. However, I was glad to find that when i awoke this morning, the EPG was correct again. Not sure what happened as I did not do anything but it is okay now and I hope it stays that way.

Glad it is working.. but you might want to make sure to file a report to let SageTV know what is happening. Try to save the log file too.

Other than that, I can't think of anything else to say, so I thought I better just fill in with "No Data".
