Question: Are you sure? (conflict management)

I seem to remember there being something like this in one of the STVs or STVIs

My wife likes to do searches for individual movies playing on specific channels like Women's Channel and Lifetime for Women, etc.

The default setting is that Manual Recordings like this overide even season 'favorites' which is GOOD. It should do that, but....

Sometimes it's not good. Is there any way to add a popup that says... hey wait... there is a conflict here... are you sure?

The reason behind this is because shows chosen to record this way are never tagged with the red exclamation as the conflict is 'resolved' already by default.

What I do is go through the upcomming recordings and then set them to manual recordings before I go to the guide. Then it will prompt you for every conflict. Would be better if it just asked for every conflict though, I agree.

New manual records that conflict with existing manual records will trigger a popup prompting you to cancel the existing one

New manual records that conflict with scheduled favorites will *not* trigger a popup, but *should* create an unresolved conflict.
This means that it should show an unresolved conflict icon in the top-right hand corner, and should show an unresolved conflict in the recording conflicts window. (This conflict is only resolved when you view it in conflict manager and close the popup)

Note: The show itself is not tagged with a conflict icon...

Ahhh... light bulb, it is showing a red conflict now. Not sure what happened. Thanks Neilm.
