Zoom Mode?

Hi All,

Is there a way to set a zoom onto a sage recorded show (in sage tv)?

What I want to do is zoom into letter box 4:3 shows so that it fills the screen on my HDTV 16:9 tv. I know I can set it to "fill" but then it simply stretches the image rather than cutting off the empty space at the top and bottom of the picture.

My TV can normally do this, however Im running my HTPC through VGA@1200x720 (approx) and it wont let me adjust / zoom vga input.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Adam

change aspect ratio settings in Detailed Setup/multimedia.

This thread covers a lot of what you want to do: (convert 4x3 letterboxed with black bars into 16x9 anamorphic with no black bars)
