Another UNC issue
Hi All,
I have the service started, logged in as a proper user all okay. Sage starts up fine. My problem is when I try to enter a UNC path \\server\sage or \\server\e$\sage It comes up every time and says there is no directory there, and would I like to create one. If I say yes to that, it then says it cannt. I have a user account setup with the same name and password on the fileserver (a windows 2000 box) Any help would be great! Thanks, Simon. |

e$ or driveletter$ are admin shares and will require a user name and password when trying to use it-so son't.
Make sure you actually have the full path of the unc path. For mine it is \\Frontroom\data (d)\SageTV. \data (d)\ is the name of the drive on the other machine. Look at the unc path thru My Network places to make sure you have the unc path correct including any spaces or other characters that are in use. Gerry
