Overlay mode is too DARK
...but my video card MX4000 nvidia with nvidias decoders is not equiped to run VMR9 which brightens things up seriously. In fact overlay is the only mode that won't lock up the playback.
Is there any way to brighten the playback if the settings are set to overlay mode?

Upping the gamma and other nvidia settings doesn't seem to do much about the playback color, only the color outside of video playback.

Overlay has separate settings to Desktop... Change the dropdown in the 'apply color changes to' dropdown
