Two Channels won't stop recording!!

I have having a weird issue where two channels will NOT stop recording. They do not interfere with other scheduled recordings. Plus, they do not show up as manual or favorites recordings. The tuner seems to think I'm watching, but I'm not. I put the tuner in sleep mode and it still records. Also, i hit watch and CLOSE FILE on the active recordings but they still record. One thing I was thinking of is trying to make a backup of the scheduled recording queue and then wipe the rest of the recordings clean and start new. I wasn't having this problem when I first started using the software, but now even several restarts did not fix the problem. The tuner seems pretty set on recording these two channels, changing the channel to watch something else doesn't stop it, it still records the next half hour and so on... ahhhhh!!!

Any help would be appreciated!!

What is the border color of these unwanted shows (red/white/none)? (if it is white, then these shows correspond to a favorite)
Do you have intelligent recording enabled? (if so, try disabling it)
Do you have any SageClients connected (that may be watching these channels)

Will try disabling intelligent recording, thanks. There is actually NO Border around the strange recordings, but I did notice that a show that I watched once on a different channel was also picked up to start recording sometime down the line so it looks like it IS intelligent recording that's doing this. I'll report back, thanks!

UPDATE: It looks like that did the trick, which is a shame because the idea of intelligent recording was cool... oh well... Anyway to have it not intelligently record like crazy?

hehe... it's pretty widely known that intelligent recording is anything but... You have to constantly train the goofy thing. Two months down the road (give or take) I'm still fighting with mine to get it something resembling the "intelligence" of a first grader with ADD.

As you saw, no border = intelligent(!) recording.

You may have left sage watching a channel at some point, which means a whole load of shows on that channel go marked as watched... You can find and reset these flags using the 'Program Guide/Watched shows' menu in the webserver, or with the Viewing History menu in Cayars' STV.
