hmm, just did some tests and it looks like nielm's plugin and the sageMC STV are not really working together.
The default padding's set with nielm's plugin override any manual setting set in the (advanced) recording dialog. Whether the manual padding setting is set to a bigger, smaller or none extra padding, always the default padding is being used.

mlbdude is it possible to have a default padding setting available when making a (manual) recording ? A default padding which is initially used when setting a manual recording and can be adjusted as needed ?

thanks
Sweep

SageMC169 development continues, just very slow. Not too much I want to add so mainly fine tuning and bug fixes.

I know this thread is a wee bit old, but I was just trying to setup Nielm's default padding plugin in SageMC, but I don't seem to be able to import it.
Worked fine for the default Sage STV. Is this option configurable in MC for manual recordings, maybe something in the properties file if there is no GUI?
Thanks,
Mat.

You can set a default padding in flachbar's version of SageMC so you don't need the import anymore. You can find the setting in the SageMC options under detailed setup
