Help with deinterlacing
I've done some searching and am still a bit lost. Theres a lot of posts regarding registry changes and codec for deinterlacing. I was wondering if someone could just give me a quick rundown of what to do as I cant seem to get a good deinterlaced mpg file. The video looks great while watching in Sage but if i try to play it with something else its all full of interlace artifacts.
I have the following: Hauppauge 250 Elecard 3.0 encoder installed. Ati / Cyberlink encoder installed. Sage 2.2 thanks for any pointers, im trying to record some high 8 video from my camera and dont want the nasty interlace chop. thanks!! |

Quote:
The deinterlacing always occurs on *playback* -- if your other media player has a problem deinterlacing, then there is a problem with the configuration of your other player, not with Sage
