Sage Clinet: 100% CPU Useage on P4 Notebok over 54Mbps 802.11 G- Audio-Yes, Video-No?
I am having a problem getting Sage Clinet to run at anything less than 100% CPU on a P4 Notebok over 54Mbps 802.11 G.
I get full Audio, but no Video, when NO other appps are running. Is there a way to reduce the Sage Client resource useage and enable smooth A/V?

I also get massive CPU usage for mpeg2 video on my 1.6Gz P4 notebook, I am not sure what is the cause (a 700Mhz P3 should be able to decode DVD quality MPEG2!), but in my case it's not Sage: Other media players also have the same problem, and it does not seem to be the the wireless LAN in my case: playing back local MPEG2 files also have the same issue...
After a lot of playing around with video and audio filters, it seems related to the filters and renderers being used... Having tested Sages, Dscaler's, and PowerDVD's I get good results with Cyberlink PowerDVD XP v4 (with hardware accelleration set in the DVD app) and overlay renderer... This suggests it is an issue with my video card (Mobility Radeon) but I would not bet on it! The Microsoft Graphedit program is a good tool for playing around with video filters -- you can download it from www.doom9.org
