Rate SageTV on CNET.com!
I was just looking around and noticed a roundup of PC PVR apps on CNET.com.
They gave XP MCE the nod, but only because they said Sage had a 'buggy installation', which I can't understand. Anyways, show your support and go rate this great program! http://reviews.cnet.com/SageTV_2_2/4...4.html?tag=lst |

I'm truely hesitant to encourage a new group of people to try Sage til Frey fixes the import bug. I try to be an optimist but I'm beginning to feel like the linux project is killing Windows development. I hope I'm wrong. Still I hope any reviews mention the issue with the library import. I know of at least 3 posts where new users thought Sage was broken/useless until they learned about the bug. Hopefully Frey will get a patched version out soon. I'm hoping their holding off to address some other major issues, besides the import bug. This would justify the wait for a new version.
PS:I'm not trying to thread jack or drive the thread OT, I just feel that it's important people know of "known" bugs before trying software. This lets people know the company is aware of it and working on a fix. Without that knowledge people will likely assume that this one issue is just the tip of a bug-ridden iceburg, since most people never come to this forum. /justme |

I am surprised that the import bug has not yet been fixed, however it only occurs in service mode, and the default install is not to use service mode...

great feature
Hi Nielm,
In the full review they call your web plugin a great feature - have to say I could not agree more. Jan |
