Hey Dude,

I'm sorry since I know it's here somewhere, but I couldn't find anything useful for "setup dvd profiler".

Could you give me a quick guide for getting it to work?
using v4, SageMC_169_5_9.
I installed profiler, created a collection.xml file with a couple movies in it. saved the xml file to:
C:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\SageMC_169_5_9 directory. refreshed DVD profiler info.

Nothing shows up...

I am trying to get DVD Profiler installed back on my machine. In the meantime, check this line in your properties file:
mlbdude/meta_data_collection.xml=
It should be the path to your collection.xml
Ex. Mine is mlbdude/meta_data_collection.xml=D\:\\Program Files\\SageTV\\SageTV\\STVs\\SageTV2\\SageMCE\\collection.xml

Cool, that works now. But it doesn't import the images. Is it suppose to or do I have to do that manually?

Dang it, I knew I kept forgetting something. I will add that. For now, images will only be imported for offline DVD's and from IMDB lookups. I will get a special build out for DVD Profiler image importing later today.

I am surprised Stanger89 has not dinged me on this yet .

Now I think I am getting used to this and will probably stick with it and get the wife to get used to it too...

I will wait for the next release.
Thanx Dude.

It doesn't seem to be working for IMDB lookups for me?

Check the install note from the version 8 build. You probably have some older Neilm IMDB code on your box.

"VERY IMPORTANT: Neilm has updated his IMDB code - it is now located in the JARs folder. Make sure you delete the folder SageTV\SageTV\net\sf\sageplugins\sageimdb folder if it exists prior to installing this STV."

New Dev build up with DVD Profiler image import fixed (added).

Don't forget to make sure you DVD Profiler path is set in your properties file:
mlbdude/DVDProfiler_Root=D\:\\Program Files\\InterVocative Software\\DVD Profiler.

Couple items I've noticed.
1) I have the animation turned off (because I use an MVP and the animation is a little slow.), but on the TV SubGroup menu is not honoring that setting.

2) When deleting a recording after navigating through the TV SubGroup menu it is not removed from the list. The file is deleted and leaving the menu and returning reflects that fact.

Rick...

p.s. Thanks for a great STV.

Also, the preview for one of the themes (the 5th one I think) is showing the wrong theme. No biggy of course but I thought you'd want to know.

Andy.

If you mean Project X, I just chose a submenu since I think the main menu with that theme is weak.

Latest Dev build "should" have those fixed as of now.

Weather icons not displayed

I have two clients one displayed using the MVP and another on my laptop. On the MVP the weather icons do not display. The files exist in the SageTV3\WeatherIcons\Images folder. The weather data is updating and displayed correctly.

Any ideas?

I am not entirely sure how the MVP client works, but it is probably looking for it in the same location relative to where the exe was run from. Someone with more MVP experience will probably have to answer.

...after more tracking down... I found selected an older version of SageMCE. (Probably with all the playing around with Studio ) Selecting the latest dev version and its works correctly.
Thanks,

FYI-Your latest SageMC169 Ver 5 Version 9 (not the dev) systems sounds don't seem to be working. When changing to some of the new themes the "Exit" dialog box is still blue instead of the color of the theme.

The dialog box colors don't change but I will look into the sounds file locations.

All seems good with the sounds. Check your properties file and make sure all references to "OrigionalV2" are changed to "SageTV3".
