SageTV 2.2.7 issues

After upgrading to from 2.2.6RC to 2.2.7, SagetvService would use 100% CPU when I would start watching a show on a client. I disabled "service mode" and all seems fine again.

Hmmm, strange. I upgraded "over the top" 2.1.10 to 2.2.7 this morning. Recording and playback from Clients tested ok. Just checked Server with Client playing back again, CPU usage less than 10% on Server running SageTV in Service Mode.

No problem here. Service running on server with 1 client running on server for MVP. 2 other regular PC clients running. CPU 10-14% with all 3 clients running. Upgraded from 2.2.6RC.

dont see any links for 2.2.7, where are you guys getting it from? I just update to 2.2.6 and not sure if I should update again, but would like to get 2.2.7 anyway.

Main Frey Sage Store. The current "released Sage" is version 2.2 which is actually 2.2.7. (downloaded files will say so)

yes please I think I am running 2.0 or 2.1 I want to know what 2.2.7 has that differs cause right now I have VERY few problems and do not want to upgrade unless I either have to (I hope sage never forces updates) or it has a new feature or fix that I must have.

do you mean relative to 2.2.6 or realative to 2.1
AFAIK, the only difference between 2.2.6 and 2.2.7 was the removal of debug logging, and addition of ther service mode/video library bug!

The release notes for 2.2.6, 2.2.5, 2.2.4, etc can be found with a quick search in the beta forum.

There are other differences in 2.2.7 from 2.2.6 . I noticed that STV changes happen more quickly.

v2.2.7 fixed the transparency bug in v2.2.6 when 3D Acceleration was on, fixed some problem with using the USB-UIRT after standby, perhaps fixed some other bugs, and changed some code to make STVs and database info load faster. No big feature changes, though.

A quick overview of changes from v2.1 to v2.2 was mentioned in the 2.2 announcement and a few things were mentioned in chapter 8 of the 2.2 manual.
