Can't connect to server using laptop :(

I've recently installed the latest beta version of SageTV (Client and Server). I have no problems connecting using my main house computer (over LAN), but when I try to connect using my laptop (over WLAN), it loads all the settings etc., but as soon as Sage starts it says the connection has been lost and it's attempting to reconnect.
What's making it do this - it seems to have only happened since I installed the beta version? What is confusing me is that it's grabbing all the settings/epg data with no problems, but as soon as it is initialized, it disconnects
All computers are using the same workgroup, and all have IP addresses starting 192.168.1.***

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Jonathan

Are you using the same version on the laptop client as on the server?

If you have a licence for the client, the same licence code cannot be used on 2 systems (without restarting the server) as the licences are per machine...

(the server and client logfiles (sagetv*_#.txt) generated by the beta may give more information).
