Sage bug? (playback error while recording superbowl)

SO I was recording the superbowl and watching on sage client. When I set up the recording, I set it up to record an extra 30 minutes at the end. So I'm watching during the 30 minutes extra (still recording), and I accidentally bumped myself out to the main menu. I tried to get back in by going to live tv-guide and selecting "watch now" for the program that was supposed to be on that channel during that time slot -- I got a playback error.

Another problem I ran into on that: When watching the recording, the time bar (during playback) only showed 4 hours even though I recorded for 4.5; I could only get to the last half hour by going to the 4:00 then using the skip forward.

This is Sage TV 2.1 with Sage Client 2.1.

Exact same issue with 2.2.4 Cayers18x. At first I thought the padding screwed up.

This is normal with all the STVs I have seen (including OriginalV2) -- the timebar only shows the duration of the original program, and padding does not show up (but if you are playing and you get to 3:59:59, it should continue past the end to 4:00:00, :01, :02 etc)
