lost channel 301...
I must have somehow lost channel 301 for myself. I have a two-tuner system. Tuner A is digital cable->svideo controlled by EXE Tuner Plugin. Tuner B is analog cable.
On dig. cable, HBO is 301. On analog it is 3. Somehow, channel 3 has been mapped to 301. 301 no longer is listed in the guide. When I enter "3", SageTV goes to Tuner A and enters 301 into the cable box. While this is not the end of the world, I would much prefer to have things back like they were. Also, after "getting" to channel 301, it seems like the channel order is a bit tweaked. If I go "up" from there, SageTV switches back to Tuner B (analog) and tunes to channel 4 (as I would expect). However, it also goes to channel 341 on the cable box (this seems like fairly random behavior as 341 is separated from 301 by lots of channels). If I then go back "down" I land on the real channel 3 on the analog tuner. I feel like there must be some corruption. Is it ok to just delete sage.properties? Would that let me get a fresh start? TIA, Stuart |

no
I can answer my own question now. Deleting sage.properties and re-setting up did not solve this. Still no 301 in the guide, even though it is selected in the channel setup.
Anyone? Where has 301 gone? How can I get it back? Regards, Stuart |

I just remapped 301 to itself (301) and now, 3 has disappeared and 301 is back.
I still don't feel like I'm in control of things here, but this is actually exactly the desired effect I would have wanted, since there is interference on analog channel 3. |
