Fan Heatsink Suggestions

I just got a new Silverstone Case and it is sweet, but I have one issue.
My P4 3.0 ghz processor came with the stock heatsink, and it is like a jet engine.
Does anybody have a suggestion on what is really quiet for a full size motherboard and case. I don't mind the other fans in the system cause they are at a low level compared to this one.

I use a large 120mm cpu fan on my HPTC. Only needs about 1000rpm for good cooling, which equals quiet. Heatsink wise you'll want a massive heavily finned and heatpiped all copper for best results. (See pics in sig line)

When I built my last PC I wanted quiet so I bought a Zalman aluminum-copper heatsink and fan. It is really quiet but it is big and heavy. You need to make sure there is enough room in the case for this monster. It also comes with a fan controller so you can speed it up or slow it down.

You can always just replace the fan with a Panaflo L1A, which is really queit. This way you don't have to go thorugh the pain of replacing the heatsink.

If that doesn't cut it cooling wise, then go for a nice copper heatsink like a Zalman as previously mentioned.

Don't forget the T-Balancer to control that fan (and the rest in the case)

How about fanless? This may work if you're free to do some creative case fan placement.

It is pretty huge though... you'd have to check clearances. I think pcalchemy carries these.
