PVR-250 Composite Input Issue...
I just set up another input source for SageTV. I have always used the antenna/cable input but now want the flexibility of connecting directly to the cable box to tape digital channels on command [no epg data or IR control].
So I set up another input on my PVR-250 and this time selected composite input. After killing all the input channels but #1, I tried it. I get sound but no video. I edited the source thinking I accidently selected S-Video, but no luck. I did actually try the S-Video [thinking that they may be reversed somehow], but that did not work. So I shut down SageTV and tried wintv2k. It worked. Is there a specific driver level for the PVR-250 to select the compoiste input? Yes I have a newer card with the extra video header on the card. Help? -Stan |

Does it list only a single S-Video & Composite input in the SetupWizard? If so, then you need to upgrade to the latest Hauppauge drivers. Then you'll have 3 composite and 2 svideo choices. One of those will work for you.

Jeff,
I upgraded - not exactly a straight forward process and after some playing I did get it to work - thanks. -Stan |
