No Sound: Pinnacle PCTV USB2
Specs:
Dell Inspirion XPS 3.4 Ghz P4 1 GB RAM 60 GB 7200 RPM HD ATI Radeon Mobility 9700 pro Sigmatel Audio Pinnacle PCTV USB2 Issue: I must say that I am disappointed so far with all the PVR software packages. I've tried Beyond TV, everything worked except video. I tried SageTV 2.1. I get everything to work except no sound at all. The software that Pinnacle provides works just fine except I can't find anything to control my Motorola cable box. This works perfectly with both Beyond TV and Sage TV. Go figure. I don't want to have to set the cable box to a channel everytime I want to record a show. Anyway if anyone has any ideas why I am not getting any sound at all please let me know. Also if there is anything that I need to clarify or additional information needed, please ask. Thanks

You might want to do a seach for "Pinnacle PCTV" and read a few of the results. It isn't listed as a supported encoder, but there seem to be conflicting comments regarding whether you can get the PCTV USB2 to work anyway. From the serach, this post looked interesting.
