Add a local channel to EPG guide?
Howdy -
I'm using the sage integrated EPG (Denver comcast cable rebuild lineup). I have a video camera on my front porch modulated onto channel 120. It doesn't look to me like I can add that channel into my channel guide. That's fine, but can I go to the channel directly by punching in the number? I can't even figure out how to go directly to a 3-digit channel; it switches on me as soon as I enter the second digit. Any ideas? -Surtr |

I have a security camera modulated on channel 59... I've been going crazy trying to figure out how to add it... I finally hooked up my old vcr (since I no longer use it) and tuned it to channel 59. I then choose a "Radio" station from a different lineup (since it displays no show info), this being the only station I selected. I routed the vcr output to the composite in on my PVR 250 and tied it to that radio station channel, I also remapped it to channel 0.
All said and done, I can now view channel zero and my security camera at ease. Long way around it maybe, but it works perfectly. Or you can just plug the camera right into the composite in on your card, if you've got easy access to the camera output... |

remap?
Hello.
I asked the same Q...didnt hear back yet. I took a channel (the govt channel!) and remapped it to 122 in the EPE then just select the govt channel and you get your cam! ![]() Pat I hope we'll get info how to modify the actual channel list down the road. |
