DVD playback in Sage Client?
Does Sage client allow local DVD playback (off a DVD drive on the SageTV client machine)?

Yes if you install a decoder on the client. (Like NVDVD, WinDVD, etc.)

Yep, it can only play a DVD installed on the local machine. Some people think it will play a DVD in the server machine but that isn't the case.

However, if you RIP DVDs to disc then it's another story.
