Getting Video but no Audio

I am a newbie and I am looking for some guidance as to where to start to fix the video but no audio on recordings.

I started out with a competative product, and have decided to switch to Sage as it has not dropped a recording yet. Unfortunately, in the last couple of days, I have been getting recordings without any audio.

My setup consists of both a recording server and a playback client.

Server Setup: (4) PVR-250BTV standard cable inputs, P4 3.0Ghz HP Workstation, 1.0 Gigabyte of memory.

Client Setup: P4 3.0 Ghz HP Workstation, 1.0 Gigabyte of memory, nVidia GeForce 5500, and Creative Labs Audigy Z for sound. Still on directx9b. Connected to the server via a 100MB network wired connection.

Up until I discovered the sound problem the only nuisance that I was experiencing was when I pressed fastforward the picture would become "jittery". Otherwise STV was performing refreshingly well.

Any ideas what I need to check?

Upgrade to DirectX 9.0c. The current download contains the 9.0b quartz.dll necessary to work correctly. This settup curred my problem of sound on only one tuner, of my dual tuner setup.
