my watched shows do get removed.

I am not sure what is the deal with this but I did notice that v2.2.4 does remove shows that I am watching. Lets say show is not in my favorite or any other list and I just go to live TV, when I watch any channel those mpegs do get removed at some point. Is this normal? I am using Cayars17 Ultimate STV so I am not sure if that was introduced by new beta or the STV but I don't like it. Sometimes I want to keep shows that I do watch and accidentally record, I mean so far sage was removing them as space was needed, but now I have like 20 gig left on my drive and those shows do get removed fairly quick...

That was the advantage I've loved over Beyond TV that I can keep my recordings even that they are not in any of my recording lists but are accidentally recorded...

Anyway anyone has any info or suggestion on that?

Thanks.

Chris

See Appendix C for info regarding how files are manged, specifically Automatic Cleanup of Live TV on p. 188 of the v2.1 manual.

What you describe is entirely normal and is the default way it works, but you can override it with the seeker/clear_partials_and_unwanted_when_ir_off property mentioned there.

Thanks Andy for your info but it never was doing this before, I had all my recordings kept on the drive and I just noticed this recently as it is removing my stuff...

Thanks so much for your help. I'll check it.
