How to play MP3 through 350 TV-out?

Okay before I get killed...for asking about this
I have a setup where I use a NICAM (Stereo) TV modulator.
Which means that all my TVīs can tune into my SageTv channel! and the picture is excellent!

So picture and sound can only come from the 350 TV-out!
So can I somehow transcode MP3 files to a MPEG2 sound stream?

It would be cool to use the Jukebox feat. in ex the kitchen...By just turning on the kitchen TV.

When you connect from the PVR-350 to the TV modulator, is it using the standard spdif out? If so, why not route the sound from the pvr-350 through your sound card's microphone, and then pump the sound from the sound card to the TV modulator?
