Imon Remote Receiver

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone had any comments (for or against) regarding the Imon receiver and remote combo.

For more than a year now, I've been happily using the PVR-250's receiver with a modified UEI-6131 remote for JP1. However, I just bought a new case (Accent/Kanam/Ariestec HT-400B) which includes an internal Imon receiver and would be interested knowing if it would be worthwhile to use it over the external PVR-250's receiver...

Lastly, the only info that I was able to dig up on Imon and Sage was a post which mentioned that a config file for Imon and Sage existed. I tried Googling for such a config file and the only thing that appears is a website from www.xmediazone.com which appears to be defunct.

Might anyone have any insight/help/files?

I would think that it would just come down to whether or not you like the layout of the Imon remote better. If you do, then I don't see why you cannot use the remote and its receiver with Sage. Just map the remote buttons to SageTV commands in Sage's Detailed Setup menu. I love this feature in Sage. It made programming my Harmony remote really easy!

I have the one with the joystick, works great, plenty of bottons to reconfigure, has a task switcher feature to open close programs such as Sage, power dvd, etc has good range. Comes with an app to reconfigure keys per the application being used, the app is easy to follow. remote + IR rx was under $40.00
