Digital Cable no channel change

Hey everybody,

I've been playing with this sagetv thing for a while now and I have a problem changing channels. Ok here we go

I have a digital cable box, #DCT2224/1161 it is a motorola box. I am running the tv out coax into the pvr 150 and have told sagetv to use the cable box to tune. I am using the ir blaster that came with the card and in the blastcfg.exe the signals are sent the way they are supposed to be sent. But in sagetv, nothing happens. I have told sage to use the hauppauge ir blaster to tune the channels. I could not care less if the REMOTE works. I would just like sage to send ir signals to my digital cable box. I have read that using s-video or rca is a better way to get ir to work but my problem with that is that it works but there is no audio in captures and I run rca audio out into the line in on my sblive and the sound is delayed. It looks like a godzilla movie. If I could get either method to work right I would be a happy guy. Thanks

I'm not sure about the IR blaster issue, but...

Why are you sending the audio to the sound card? The audio won't get put into the mpeg file unless the audio goes into the 150 -- the 150 has a stero miniplug audio in; the 150mce has left/right RCA connections. You would need an rca converter to stereo miniplug, but I don't know if that is included with the card.
