pvr-250 driver identify and upd

i'm having trouble with recordings have a good deal of pixelization and they resulting mpg file is somewhat corrupt. The corruption is that the I can't skip forward or backward.... the timeline skips at bizare intervals and often just restarts at the beginning of the pgm.

I'm running on a 2.4g AMD CPU Soyo KT600 Dragon Plus 2.0 motherboard. New HD with 64k clusters. Sage v2.3 beta and running as a service.

I updated the drivers using the procedure on the Hauppauge site which went fine... How do I confirm the version of the driver. In device Manager under Sound, Video, Game I have a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR PCI II (encoder-16). When I go to driver details I get version 1.18.21.22266 9/22/2004...

As far as I know you just did determine the driver. FWIW I'm using old 1/29/04 v1.17.x drivers with my PVR250s (-16s) and am not about to update, no reason.
