Sage 2.1 records everything
I realize that this topic has already been covered but I have yet to find answers!
I am relatively new to Sage, I just installed 2.1. My problem is that it seems to be recording everything on the last channel I was watching. Intelligent recording is off. I always put it in sleep mode, yet when I come back it has recorded MUCH more then what is in my "scheduled recordings" menu. how can I stop this? I am quickly running out of space. I'm using the PVR 150 MCE in Windows XP SP2. Last edited by Sparhawk6; 01-19-2005 at 04:13 AM. |

Well I see the "close the file" option, and that's not really doing anything. Last edited by Sparhawk6; 01-19-2005 at 04:38 AM. |

There is also a property you can check in Sage.properties:
mmc/encoders/XXX/never_stop_encoding=true XXX would be some number for an encoder. I'm not sure why this might get set to true, but if so, set it to false. Also, before doing a complete reinstall of _everything_, try just deleteing the properties file and/or reinstalling the 150mce drivers. - Andy

Just to recap:
Reinstalling the PVR-150 MCE drivers and rebooting seems to have done the trick. ![]() Thanks. |
